Our Tech

Innovative technology changing the world.

Embracing the frontier of medical innovation, medical professionals are utilizing cutting-edge technology to provide remote surgical care, transcending physical boundaries and establishing long-term sustainable surgical training programs.

Vuzix Smart Glasses

Lightweight and durable, Vuzix M400 smart glasses are the most wearable, powerful, and ergonomically versatile headworn computer on the market. The glasses are comfortable to wear, non-obtrusive and the augmented reality technology provides a perfect balance of engagement in the digital and real world with AI apps and 5G capability. Also available is the Blade Glasses: more ergonomic, stylish and lightweight than the M4000. Good choice if user has issues with screen fogging.
Both glasses are compatible with Help Lightning and TeleVU software.

Great for remote surgical training or any type of field training.

TeleVu

Access to TeleVU’s (pronounced Tele-View) connected care ecosystem enables clinicians to provide real-time medical guidance, support, and collaboration regardless of physical distance.

Together, we can bring access to care close to home, break down geographical barriers, improve patient outcomes, and enable clinicians to deliver integrated, data-driven, and collaborative care. Join us in embracing the transformative power of cloud-based medical telepresence, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence.

Great for surgical procedures that require an additional view such as neurosurgery or endoscopic urological procedures.

Help Lightning

Software specializing in remote assistance. Video collaboration services that enable a company’s experts to work virtually side-by-side with anyone needing help, anywhere in the world. Cloud-based solution applies augmented reality features, including the merging of two video streams and the use of 3D annotation to improve real-time communications and solve difficult problems.

Great for remote surgical training where there is no additional feed necessary. Also good if user would like to use their handheld device instead of Smart Glasses.

Immertech

An immersive peer-to-peer collaboration platform that allows remote attendees to view a live 3D stream of an operating room. Mentor surgeons can create events on Immertec’s platform and invite physicians to register. Registered attendees are loaned a VR headset to attend the event. Physicians use their Immertec app to sync their VR headset to a live stream and virtually transport into an operating room from their home or office. No capped limit on number of attendees; more interactive with smaller groups of 30 or less. Up to 4 screens available for attendee to view. Headsets can be purchases through Immertec and optionality to be white labeled.

Great for group remote surgical training. Excellent option if a trainer/mentor are teaching an updated or new procedure to a group.

Backpack EMR

Providing software solutions for mobile clinics in remote, low-resource areas. BackpackEMR targets medical teams working in rural areas, and is fully supported by Binary Bridge. We know that medical teams are not experts in technology, and hiring an IT person or staff is very expensive. We want teams to spend their time and resources on the people they are serving, so we will fully support our solutions for teams in the field. Data is stored until it receives Wifi signal to upload data to the cloud.

Great for comprehensive medical record keeping in low resource, low to no bandwidth situations.

Ecosystem of Connected and Integrated Care

The key to having an effective TelePresence solution is a software platform that can intraoperate various smart devices and other medical imaging feeds to provide an immersive experience as if the remote clinical expert is physically present in the room. TeleVU ‘s ImmersiveVU concepts provide just that!

CamVU provides flexible connectivity to a Wi-Fi camera feed to provide a bird’s eye view of the room to pinpoint any areas of interest with tilt and pan capability. In addition, other USB and specialty cameras are supported.

With ScreenVU, medical monitors or screens can be fed directly to the TeleVU portal for the remote clinician to view and provide AR guidance to the smart glasses—screens including x-ray boom, endoscopy, ultrasound machine, and vital signs.

GlassVu are wearable IoT devices with sufficient computing power to run independent apps. They allow the wearer to collect and stream audio/video through the device’s camera and receive information through the augmented reality screen (AR).

Using the FlowVU platform, visual guides and contextual information are delivered to users using AR. Digital workflows, checklists, training and procedure instructions are made easy using Smart Glasses and mobile devices, online or offline!

HUmanitarian pricing Model

Our pricing model is a sustainable pathway to generating profits that directly fund more technology grants while allowing our partners to scale their initiatives. We aim to create positive change globally by addressing the shortage of surgical training opportunities in low-middle-income-countries (LMICs) and creating access to essential tools and resources for remote training.

The OO App

Ohana One created the OO App to connect surgeons and offer resources for trainees, especially in remote areas. The app links mentee surgeons with mentors for data and idea sharing and helps medical NGOs collaborate. It provides real-time communication and access to digital learning materials, overcoming limited internet.
